抄録: The Kwangket'o-wang monument was erected to immortalize his distinguished fame and it is widely known as a valuable inscription for the study of East Asian history in the 4th or 5th century. This monument is important not only for the study of the relations between Koguryo, Silla and Paikche but also between We and these countries. Moreover, it is important for the study of the regional ruling system in the Koguryo dynasty and its political development.Though much has not been written on this subject in the past, the basic investigations into this monument have been carried on lately, and some new theses have been written on this subject in the past ten years. In this paper, I would like to discuss the following four problems.1. On the process of the war between Kwangket'o-wang's Koguryo and other countries, and the territories newly acquired by him.2. On the new system to rule the castles formerly belonged to the races called Han and Ie.3. On the goverment system in the Koguryo dynasty to reign the other races in the newly acqired territories.4. On the government system to rule the people formerly belonged to the Koguryo dynasty.
