The purpose of this study is to clarify the relationship between the research environment and outcomes of graduate students using surveys for students’ life which was conducted by University of Tokyo in 2011 and 2015. This study suggests two points:( 1) the natural science course and humanity course have different decision factors for their outcomes. The former depends on environment rather than the latter;(2) conference presentation overseas and in Japan have different nature. Additional analysis was held to clarifying which factors affect students’ satisfaction with laboratory relationship. As result it becomes clear that (1) motives which connect research activity in laboratory make students more content with laboratory relationship(; 2) personal troubles create dissatisfaction with laboratory relationship;(3) degree courses affect satisfaction with laboratory relationship.
