In particular, I viewed the high economic growth period of Japan as the milestone of the \"Correspondence Education\" concept. Next, I categorized each historical development of \"Correspondence Education\" before the high economic growth period and thereafter, and considered the transition of the \"Correspondence Education\" concept based on historical developments. As a result, first, I showed how the \"Correspondence Education\" concept shifted from the position of having been treated as a supplementation for group study into an original position, that is, one which responded to the needs of various learners on the cusp of the high economic growth period. Second, I showed that the impression that people held toward the \"Correspondence Education\" concept changed from a one-way structure to an interactive structure. Third, I clarified that the aspect which asked for subjectivity of the learner was backward if the transformation of the trend of the above-mentioned \"Correspondence Education\" concept was understood as the relationship between the subjectivity of the learner and the media.
