内容記述 | This study examined how teachers intervened in conflicts among toddlers. At a daycare center, 10 children and 3 teachers in a one- and two-year-old class were observed during free play once a week for a year. The results suggested that (1) teachers tended to stop toddlers when they were aggressive or grabbed toys, (2) teachers tended to accept toddlers'feelings when they cried or expressed their feelings by negative tone utterances, (3) teachers tended to teach skillful negotiation strategies when toddlers asserted themselves vocally without negative tones, and (4) teachers tended to explain about the situations and teach skillful negotiation strategies more often to older toddlers.
