内容記述 | Martha C. Nussbaum has not written about moral education directly, but her essay about liberal arts education in universities contains many tips for it. According to her, being capable of love and imagination is necessary for being an educated citizen. Today’s theory of moral education criticizes “emotionalism”, but does not deny completely the importance of emotion as one aspect of morality. Therefore it is valuable to investigate what “emotion” is, and Nussbaum writes a lot about it, and how to cultivate it: to read literatures.
