For the purpose of carrying out the observations for the aftershocks of the Kita-Mino earthquake of August 19, 1961, we set up two temporary stations at Kadohara and Hirugano. In cooperation with the Hachiman station which was also installed temporarily for the observation of the aftershocks by Miyamura et al, a net for the observation of the aftershocks began its operation on 25th August and closed its activity on 20th September. The ocations of these stations will be seen in Fig. 1. Frequency diagrams of the p-s duration times for the shocks observed at these stations are shown in Figs. 4, 5 and 6. Maximum frequencies of the p-s duration times are 1.0, 1.2 and 4 sec for Kadohara, Hirugano and Hachiman respectively.
