This paper is an ethnographic research on educational practice of elementary school teacher. He conducts in his classroom in order to achieve his objectives which reflect his educational aims and beliefs, that is, the teacher's conduct is one of the teacher strategies. In this paper, I analyze the variety of the teacher's conduct. Firstly, I describe that the teacher's objectives, which are closely related to the teacher's conduct, are to realize his ideal class and to understand his pupils. Secondly, I describe three forms of the teacher's conduct which he is clearly aware of. The first is that he pretends to be homogeneous against the pupils to understand them. The second is that he leaves activities in classroom in pupil's hands to realize his ideal class. The last is that he will discipline them to realize his ideal classroom. However this teacher's conduct isn't completed by a certain dilemma and after all he has to conduct in other ways to avoid faceing with the dilemma. Finally, I describe some of the pupil's reaction to the teacher's conduct.
