Innovation Schools, which implement innovative practices in all areas of schools, including teaching, evaluation, and school administration, aim to create democratic communities through the participation of teachers and students.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the nature of Student Participation in Innovation Schools from the viewpoint how the debate about Student Participation has been made in the law and curriculum compared to what it was before Innovation Schools.
Through this, it can be understood that Innovation Schools help students to participate under the ideology and philosophy contained in the Ordinance on the Protection of Human Rights for Students and Education for Democratic Citizens. This culture can be said the inherent strength of Innovation Schools for sustainable school innovation.
