In Part 3 of A Theory of Justice, Rawls provides the theory of good and the moral psychological account of the sense of justice in the light of the two distinguished empirical sciences, economics and psychology. It can then be seen that the descriptive theories of goodness and the sense of justice are indissolubly associated with the method of reflective equilibrium. By scrutinizing these theories, however, we can see that they fail to meet the conditions of reflective equilibrium.
