According to the classification of welfare services, they include medical service security, income security (pension and retirement funds), and employment security. This paper analyses income security in private sector by focusing on a voluntary scheme of retirement fund or provident fund (PVD: Kong-thun Samrong Liang Cheep) which include 11,000 member firms with 2.25 million employees in September of 2011.
