Moreover, one-third of the products of the whole world is concentrated in Tianjin. Tianjin is one of the birthplaces of the bicycle industry in China, and a state-owned enterprise group (Feige Group) monopolized the local production there. In ten years from the early 1990s to early 2000s, the structure of the bicycle industry in Tianjin was transformed into the industrial agglomeration based ondivision of labour and the competition among non-state-owned enterprises. Deregulation of entry for non-state-owned enterprises, and the establishment of the parts market have played a big role on this transformation. In addition,the state-owned enterprises have borne some cost for the system transformation, and have supplied various resources for non-state-owned enterprises.
