Studying wage effects and employment adjustments, it is found that wages are higher and employment adjustments are accelerated in the union firms. These are contrary to the results of the previous researches with the data of the early 1990s. In other words, wage effects varied from negative to positive and employment adjustment speed that was slower became contrary faster in the union firms.
