空間自体の複雑な形態に加え日射, 対流, 伝導, 再放射等の各要素が絡み合って複雑なシステムを形成している. 詳細な日射熱取得シミュレーション, 及び放射・対流熱輸送シミュレーションを総合した室内の温熱環境シミュレーションはこの様な複雑環境場を予測・解析する有効な手段となる. 吹き抜け部の高さが130mに達するオープンタイプアトリウム内の温熱環境を詳細な日射熱取得シミュレーション, 放射対流熱輸送シミュレーションにより解析した. その結果, 夏期は吹抜部頂部に高温の熱溜りが生ずるが, 頂部換気によりこの熱溜りを排気することが可能であること, 冬期は,
