While these noncognitive skills have been emphasized in the educational field, the research findings are often limited to theoretical suggestions as to what specific efforts should be made to improve children's non-cognitive skills. / In this paper, we focus on a series of empirical studies of non-cognitive skills programs for preschool children conducted over the last ten years, particularly in kindergartens and nursery schools, and introduce the content of each program and the effects shown in the empirical studies.
