In order to achieve this goal, we conducted a web survey for 2,970 high school students in Japan. Our findings were as follows: 1) several junior high school students were concerned about the influence of school reports to high schools they wanted to enter, and their school lives seem to be affected by this aspect of the system; and 2) Intermediate students, in terms of academic level, were more affected by this phenomenon than top level students.
