In addition, the Sinhala data are compared with data from even other NIA languages from the World Atlas of Transitivity Pairs. There are four main findings of this paper. First, equipollent coding is the most frequent type of coding shown by the verb pairs examined. Second, two coding patterns heretofore ignored in the literature on Sinhala are identified: labile coding and diachronicallyrelated equipollent coding. Third, Sinhala prefers anticausative coding to causative coding. Lastly, Sinhala’s tendency toward anticausativization makes it different from other NIA languages, most of which prefer causative coding. Considering the diachronic stability argued for in the literature (Comrie 2006), it is surprising for genetically closely related languages to differ significantly in their causal–noncausal alternations; this and the other findings in this paper suggest that other heretofore understudied South Asian languages may also prefer anticausative coding.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"本稿では Haspelmath (1993) の 31 組の動詞リストに基づいて、新期インド・アーリア語 (NIA)の一つであるシンハラ語の自他交替動詞対を分析する。更にシンハラ語のデータを使役交替地図上の他言語のデータと比較する。この論文の主な発見は 4 つある。第一に、両極型の動詞対が今回の調査では最も多かった。第二に、シンハラ語においては今まで注目されていなかった、自他同形型・通時的に同じ語根から派生した両極型の二つがあることを指摘する。第三に、動詞リストの調査結果に基づき、シンハラ語は使役型の交替よりも逆使役型の交替を好むことを示す。第四に、逆使役型が優勢なシンハラ語の特徴は、使役型優勢である他の多くの NIA とは異なることを示す。先行研究で通時的安定性 (Comrie 2006) が提案されていることを考えると、系統的に近い他の言語とシンハラ語との違いは驚くべきことである。これらの結果は、今まで自他交替の議論がされていない南アジアの言語にも逆使役型優勢の言語があることを示唆する。","subitem_description_language":"ja","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_4_description_6":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"論文 Articles","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15083/0002002782","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_4_publisher_20":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科・文学部言語学研究室","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"},{"subitem_publisher":"Department of Linguistics, Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, Faculty of Letters, The University of Tokyo","subitem_publisher_language":"en"}]},"item_4_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN10148796","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_4_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"13458663","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_4_text_4":{"attribute_name":"著者所属","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_language":"ja","subitem_text_value":"東京大学大学院"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorAffiliations":[{"affiliationNames":[{"affiliationName":"東京大学","affiliationNameLang":"ja"}]}],"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Yoshida, Shigeki","creatorNameLang":"en"},{"creatorName":"吉田 樹生","creatorNameLang":"ja"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2021-10-29"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"ggr_043020.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"820 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://repository.dl.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/record/2002782/files/ggr_043020.pdf"},"version_id":"241a5572-c0b5-46f3-8a2c-02d0ab6911c5"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Sinhala","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Indo-Aryan","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"causal–noncausal alternation","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"causative","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"anticausative","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"シンハラ語","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"インド・アーリア語","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"自他交替","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"使役","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"逆使役","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Causal–Noncausal Verb Alternations in Sinhala, an Anticausativizing Indo-Aryan Language","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Causal–Noncausal Verb Alternations in Sinhala, an Anticausativizing Indo-Aryan Language","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"4","owner":"1","path":["1635481924110","1635481746381"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2021-10-29"},"publish_date":"2021-10-29","publish_status":"0","recid":"2002782","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Causal–Noncausal Verb Alternations in Sinhala, an Anticausativizing Indo-Aryan Language"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2022-12-19T05:12:47.335009+00:00"}
