Precipitous Dawna range lays along the border. There had been sporadic con\u001fict between Myanmar military and the Karen National Union （KNU） in the border area since independence of Myanmar （Burma）. The government has prioritized internal peace and progressed cease\u001ere negotiation with various armed groups after democratization in 2011. The government reached cease\u001ere agreement with the KNU in January 2012. In October 2015, the government and eight armed organizations signed the Nationwide Cease\u001ere Agreement （NCA）. Three of these eight armed organizations are Kayin armed groups. These three groups have develop a positive attitude to peace process along the NCA. Relating to this peace process （NCA process） in Myanmar, the Kayin state is the most progressive area. On the other hand, there are six major Kayin armed groups in the state. Their relationship to the government is diversi\u001eed. / The purpose of this paper is to discuss the responce to current peace process by Kayin armed groups. And introduce some speculation about problems of the current peace process.
