The study focused on differences in recruitment methods, analyzing data obtained from a nationwide survey of university administrative staff. The results revealed the following. First, although gender, age, initial place of employment, and motivation for joining the company differed depending on recruitment methods, treatment after joining the company did not differ significantly. Second, as the number of years of service increased, the degree of increase or decrease in work awareness differed on the basis of recruitment methods.
