Although the Double Reduction Policy has shown a strong influence on in-school and out-of-school, and has become one of the most important topics in education research, very few studies have been done about the current situation and challenges of the Double Reduction Policy in a field site of education from micro perspective. This paper briefly describes the current situation and challenges of China's Double Reduction Policy, by analyzing policy documents, and by interviewing teachers in both regular and cram schools.
