The purpose of this paper is twofold: (1) to organize the perspectives from which museum exhibits and museum labels are studied, and (2) to organize the relationship between exhibits (or museum labels) and other concepts such as visitors. As a result, it was found that, first, studies about museum exhibits can be divided into three major types and eight smaller categories according to the perspective of the study, with many studies focusing on the relationship between exhibits and visitors. Second, as for the studies about museum labels, it was possible to apply the relationships found in the studies about museum exhibitions, and many of the studies focused on the relationship between exhibitions and visitors.
