Therefore, discrepancies between the ceramic assemblages of these sites and the existing chronology of this type have become apparent. In order to solve this  problem, this paper reexamines chronology for the Ohora A pottery in the target area with a focus on incision technique, resulting that I subdivide it into three phases. Because they are consistent with the distribution pattern of each archaeological remain, some differences can be clarified from the previous studies. Next, I propose three subtypes of the arrow tailfeather-shaped incised pattern (TSIP), which was regarded as of Ohora A type originally, and examine the accompanying materials and decoration motifs of them.
