In this article, we empirically analyze the effects of differences in undergraduate majors on teachers’ workplace adaptation. There are methodological difficulties in dealing with bias due to unobserved confounding factors because these academic origins are time-invariant variables. This article addresses selection bias using a control function method with conditional heteroskedasticity.
