In the article, the works of the leading theorists of extra-curricular activities, E.K. Fretwell’s Extra-Curricular Activities in Secondary School and the first (1927), revised (1937), third (1952) editions of H.C. McKown’s Extra-Curricular Activities, were analyzed.
