Focusing primarily on Certeau’s works from the 1970s—a period in which his theory of writing achieved its maturity—the analysis also considers the revisions and additions he made when republishing essays in collected volumes. These updates provide valuable insights into the evolving implications of his ideas.\nThe first section examines Certeau’s essay “From the Body to Writing, a Christian Transit” (1974) to underscore the centrality of spatial imagery in his thought. In this work, the sea is intricately linked to the “crowd,” portraying writing as an act that both dissolves the self and fosters unity within a metaphorical ocean. This imagery invites an exploration of the dynamic interplay between the object of writing, the act of writing, and its intended audience.\nThe second section turns to Certeau’s private notes in 1973. These notes conceptualize writing as a series of “drifts” or “passages.” In this personal text, Certeau articulate a core idea: that writing involves tracing and representing “movements”, which ebb and flow like waves, in connection with other texts. In the concluding paragraph of these notes, Certeau appears to anticipate his own “death,” imbuing the text with a profound sense of temporality—a key focus of the paper’s final analysis.\nThe third and final section examines Certeau’s essay “Writing the Unspeakable” (1975), published in Traverses. Here, the discussion reveals how Certeau positions a sense of “loss” as the foundational element of writing. Unlike Robinson Crusoe, who constructs a solid island or strategic territory to dominate his external world, Certeau embraces the inherent fragility and vulnerability of “place.” This paper argues that Certeau’s conceived writing as a process that accepts and navigates this inherent fragility.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_4_description_6":{"attribute_name":"内容記述","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"論文","subitem_description_language":"ja","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"identifier_registration","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15083/0002010705","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_4_publisher_20":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Phantastopia編集委員会","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_4_relation_25":{"attribute_name":"関係URI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_type":"isReferencedBy","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://phantastopia.com/","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_4_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"2436-6692","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"福井, 有人","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"Fukui, Arito","creatorNameLang":"en"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2025-03-24"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"phantastopia_04_01.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"811.4 KB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://repository.dl.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/record/2010705/files/phantastopia_04_01.pdf"},"version_id":"bba8b557-d8e9-48a2-bdbb-bead3b55d785"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"20世紀","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"フランス","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"哲学","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"思想","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"文学","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"神秘主義","subitem_subject_language":"ja","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"item_resource_type","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"場所から非-場所へ : ミシェル・ド・セルトーにおける「書くこと」のモティーフ","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"場所から非-場所へ : ミシェル・ド・セルトーにおける「書くこと」のモティーフ","subitem_title_language":"ja"},{"subitem_title":"From Place to Non-place : A Reflection on the Motif of “Writing” in Michel de Certeau’s Texts","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"4","owner":"18","path":["1742780729618","1742780897342"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2025-03-24"},"publish_date":"2025-03-24","publish_status":"0","recid":"2010705","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["場所から非-場所へ : ミシェル・ド・セルトーにおける「書くこと」のモティーフ"],"weko_creator_id":"18","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2025-04-24T04:32:06.727209+00:00"}
