Out of 208 isolates, 24 strains were catalase negative and showed clear holes on the agar media containing calcium carbonate due to the production of lactic acid, suggesting that these strains were considered to be lactic acid bacteria. Among these, 3 strains showed high production of lactic acid and were selected for further studies. These strains were found to be Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis based on the 16S rDNA sequence analysis. The species is well-known as a plant-derived lactic acid bacterium of terrestrial origin. Physiological and biochemical characteristics of the three strains and their type strain (NBRC3202) were compared. Growth temperature and utilization of amygdalin, arbutin and salicin of the three strains were different from their type strain. The supernatant of fermented commercial soy milk of three isolated strains showed acceleration of synthesis of collagen and hyaluronic acid on normal human skin fibroblast. Among these strains, strain KM-2, which was isolated from Kumejima Town, in Okinawa Prefecture showed highest acceleration activities.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_30002_file35":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_access","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2025-06-27"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"CMS480101.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"0.5MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"objectType":"fulltext","url":"https://repository.dl.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/record/2013668/files/CMS480101.pdf"},"version_id":"74416915-38b4-4dae-8a95-f8f16fce4546"}]},"item_30002_identifier_registration17":{"attribute_name":"identifier_registration","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15083/0002013668","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_30002_language12":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_30002_publisher10":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"International Coastal Research Center, Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, the University of Tokyo","subitem_publisher_language":"en"},{"subitem_publisher":"東京大学大気海洋研究所国際沿岸海洋研究センター","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_30002_resource_type13":{"attribute_name":"item_30002_resource_type13","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_30002_source_identifier22":{"attribute_name":"収録物識別子","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"13493000","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"},{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA11957899","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_30002_subject8":{"attribute_name":"主題","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"Lactic acid bacteria","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Lactobacillus delbrueckii","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"DGGE","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"soy milk","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"hyaluronic acid","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"collagen","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_30002_title0":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Isolation of lactic acid bacteria from seaweed and seagrass in the Japanese coastal waters and possible application of their soy milk fermentation products","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_title":"Isolation of lactic acid bacteria from seaweed and seagrass in the Japanese coastal waters and possible application of their soy milk fermentation products","item_type_id":"30002","owner":"191","path":["1750987340947","1750986922489"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"PubDate","attribute_value":"2025-06-27"},"publish_date":"2025-06-27","publish_status":"0","recid":"2013668","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Isolation of lactic acid bacteria from seaweed and seagrass in the Japanese coastal waters and possible application of their soy milk fermentation products"],"weko_creator_id":"191","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2025-06-27T04:06:29.326590+00:00"}
