Among these techniques, we study the shape representation of IP, since in contrast to other representations, IPs are superior especially in the areas of fast fitting, few parameters, algebraic/geometric invariants, robustness against noise and occlusion, etc. In this thesis, we provide insights into the theory and practice of polynomial representation, and the main contribution can be summarized by the three following points: Firstly, a 3D IP-segment representation method is developed even for robustly representing complex objects. Secondly, an efficient fitting method has been developed for adaptively estimating the IP of moderate degree for objects with various shapes. Thirdly, a fast and robust registration method of using IP gradient flow has been developed and applied for medical image applications.
Abstract"}]},"item_7_dissertation_number_26":
"item_7_full_name_3":
"item_7_identifier_registration":
"item_7_select_21":
"item_7_subject_13":
"item_7_text_22":
"item_7_text_24":
研究科・専攻
Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology (情報理工学系研究科電子情報学専攻)"}]},"item_7_text_27":
"item_7_text_4":
Graduate School of Information Science and Technology Department of Information and Communication Engineering The University of Tokyo
["9/233/280","34/105/330
["2D CURVE AND 3D SURFACE REPRESENTATION USING IMPLICIT POLYNOMIAL AND ITS APPLICATIONS
