At the same time, extramural education is being taken up as a way to promote the socialization of youth. In fact, at the present time, two important policy trends, adult education and extramural education for youth, are gaining widespread currency and development in China's education system. In particular, extramural education for youth has gained attention as particularly crucial, as it cultivates the personal nature of youth, and promotes solidarity between school, society, and the home.
