Therefore, it has become necessary to regard forestry work as an occupation. One approach to market analysis is factor analysis of wages to find the characteristics of the wage structure. This study constructed the Mincer wage function based on human resource theory in labor economics, which suggests personal skill increases may affect wage increases. The working group members of the seven Forest Corporations in Tajima Region, Hyogo Prefecture, were the objective of this study. This study found that age and tenure increased the wage and the rate of this increase decreased as age and tenure increased. This wage profile is similar to that in domestic manufacturing. Furthermore, the effect of a worker's experience was significant and higher than that of tenure. This was also consistent with the results concerning forestry workers in past research. This study also found that the productivity of a forestry worker is highly affected by the length of work experience.
