Therefore, further research including the distribution pattern of other subalpine conifers, Abies veitchii (Av), Picea jezoensis var. hondoensis (Pj) and Tsuga diversifolia (Td), in the mountains located on the Pacific Ocean side is necessary in order to predict more general dynamics of subalpine coniferous forest resulting from climatic change.
