The stem analysis was used to estimate sequential height growth. The biomass above the ground was estimated by dimension analysis. The tree height differed corresponding to changes in geographical features. Trees grown on concave slope were about 10m higher than ones on convex slope. The rate of annual height growth on convex slope was about 20cm・yr-1. The height growth on concave slope or steep slope reached a peak at 10- to 20-year-old and decreased gradually until 40- to 50-year-old. The rate of annual height growth after 40- to 50-year-old was about 20cm・yr-1 on concave slope and about 10cm・yr-1 on steep slope. The total biomass above the ground estimated was 214t・ha-1, i.e., 171 in stem, 29 in branch, and 14t・ha-1 in leaf.
