The survey produced a huge volume of research reports on individual customs and the documents are now scattered in South Korea, Japan and the United States. The C.V. Starr East Asian Library of the University of California, Berkeley, owns 11 pieces of such survey as a rare book. There is no information about the documents other than the librar y’s bibliographic information, still keeping the identity of the books in the dark.
