The origin of the affair was some parents' demands for higher educational standards. Especially, the new middle class parents stood at the center position of this affair. In this paper, the problem around this affair is analized from two points of view : 1) the major tendency of social consiousness in the postwar period, and the emancipation of private desire; 2) the position of GAKURYOKU in educational community.
