In study 1, factor analysis showed that the scale included four factors: “seeking support”, “shift of thought”, “avoidance”, “active coping”. The reliability was examined through Cronbach's α. The resulting coefficient was satisfactory, thus the scale's reliability was verified. The scale's validity was also verified in construct validity. The present results show that the scale is reliable and valid for measuring junior high school students'interpersonal stress coping style.
