Seven schools were specified by Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education.// The findings are these three points. First, Entrance examination-oriented school was introduced since the number of the metropolitan high school graduates entering prestigious universities decreased. Second, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Board of Education chose these schools through closed conference. Third, the author describes the different recognition between principals and other teachers through interview with these high school teachers.
