The report then considers the theoretical possibility of redefining the notion, aiming at the professional development of teachers in Japan. In so doing, the logic of \"theory and practice\" is also discussed with in the school management research arena, paying careful attention to the fact that educational management discourse in the United Kingdom has driven the logic theory of distributed leadership into the practice.
