The absence of BSR was discovered along the deep-tow multi-channel survey track, which can result because the insitu P-T condition is still in a transient state after fault activity. We conducted a two-dimensional numerical simulation of the thermal regime after faulting to simulate the time variation of BGHS depth. The latent heat due to formation/dissociation of gas hydrate has a significant effect on the thermal regime.
