内容記述 無限非線形等方性媒質において二種類の単純波すなわち非結合単純波(noncoupled simplewave:縦成分のみの波)と結合単純波(coupled simple wave:縦成分と横成分の結合波)が発生することを筆者は以前の論文で論じた.本論文では,自由表面のある半無限非線形媒質において自由表面直下から真上に上述の単純波が突入したときに自由表面で何が起こるかを解明した.この現象の解明は直下型地震を理解するのに極めて有意義だと考えられる.
