Preliminary results of studies on the seismic structures, heat flow, marine geomagnetic measurements and some geological and petrographical studies are obtained to study the rifting scheme of the trough. The scientific objective, surveyed area, cruise period, terms of observation, filing of data and names of participants in this program are presented.
