The main purpose of the present follow-ups is to test the applicability of the gravity method of rediscovering them, and a second purpose is to disclose geologically unknown faults concealed by heavy overburden. A two-dimensional highpass filtering procedure proves successful in indicating the presence of faults and discovering concealed ones. Analysis of'the shape of the boundary between the surface layer (Tertiary and Quaternary) and the Pre-Tertiary bedrock yields a solution for vertical displacements of the faults. Bird's-eye views of the bedrock topography give us an intuitive understanding of the fault systems.
