Two indexes were used to determine the passive detectability of each seismic region. One is the smallest value of the CGS magnitude m down to which events are detected without omission. Another one is the percentage of the passive detectability of the events with a certain magnitude, m=4.5 in the present case. The distribution of stations which well contribute to USCGS for determining the foci in every seismic region was also checked. They were found to be located in nonseismic areas or in mountainous regions.
