The epicentral distance of these events from TSK (Tsukuba Seismological Observatory) ranges from 25 to 55 degrees. The USCGS magnitude mb of most of the earthquakes is between 5.1 and 5.6. P-wave amplitude in the frequency range from 1.5 to 3.0 cps is compared with that in the range less than 1 cps. The relative amplitude is investigated for earthquakes in various seismic regions. Large local variation of P-wave spectrum is also found for closely located earthquakes belonging to the same region.
