Chushan Shaoqi (1404–1473) and Yunqi Zhuhong (1535-1615) of the Ming, Baoxian (1686–1734) of the Qing, Xuyun (1840–1952) and Laiguo (1881–1953) of the Republican period, and Nan Huaijin of the contemporary period, have all vigorously promoted this practice. In spite of its prevalence, its intellectual origin is far form being clear. Based on preliminary studies, I have reinterpreted an important passage in The Precious Mirror of the Lotus School and concluded that the practice was initiated by Mao Ziyuan (1096–1181) of the late Song period. Originally a Tiantai monk practicing meditation, Mao later turned to Pure Land practice of reciting Amitābha. Influenced inevitably by his Chan contemporaries Dahui Pujue (1089–1163), Zhenxie Qingliao (1097–1152) and Hongzhi Zhengjue (1091–1157), Mao integrated the prevalent Silent Illumination Chan (Mozhao chan) and Word Investigation Chan (Kanhua chan) into his Pure Land practice and innovated a brand-new practice unifying Chan and Pure Land, which became the initial form of \"Who is the One Reciting Amitābha?\" Through Yuan, Ming, Qing and the Republican periods, this practice has maintained its strong influence and is thus a topic quite worthy of researching.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_4_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"87845","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}],"names":[{"name":"Zhang, Xin"}]}]},"item_4_identifier_registration":{"attribute_name":"ID登録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_identifier_reg_text":"10.15083/00037008","subitem_identifier_reg_type":"JaLC"}]},"item_4_publisher_20":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科・文学部インド哲学仏教学研究室"}]},"item_4_source_id_10":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AN10419736","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_4_source_id_8":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"09197907","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_4_subject_15":{"attribute_name":"日本十進分類法","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"126","subitem_subject_scheme":"NDC"}]},"item_4_text_21":{"attribute_name":"出版者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"Department of Indian Philosophy and Buddhist Studies, Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, University of Tokyo"}]},"item_4_text_4":{"attribute_name":"著者所属","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_text_value":"東京大学大学院"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"張, 欣"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"87844","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2017-06-13"}],"displaytype":"detail","filename":"ib015006.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"1.3 MB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_note","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"ib015006.pdf","url":"https://repository.dl.itc.u-tokyo.ac.jp/record/37017/files/ib015006.pdf"},"version_id":"28f52035-9752-44fc-b3c7-c44b705da2d0"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"jpn"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"departmental bulletin paper","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"「念仏者是誰」 : その思想源流について","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"「念仏者是誰」 : その思想源流について"}]},"item_type_id":"4","owner":"1","path":["5749","5748"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2011-06-30"},"publish_date":"2011-06-30","publish_status":"0","recid":"37017","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["「念仏者是誰」 : その思想源流について"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":null},"updated":"2022-12-19T04:11:38.311044+00:00"}
