Lacôte は，BK-ŚS の内容分析の結果，このネパール系傳本がカシミール系傳本よりはるかに原BK の内容構成を忠実に留めるものであることを確認し，さらにBK-ŚS のコロフォンを吟味しつつ，原BKの導入部がKathāmukhaであり，主要部が26lambhaに区分されてゐたことをつきとめた．その後，VHがBKのジャイナ系傳本にほかならぬことを指摘したL.
