In this study, influences of saturation on translational temperature and integrated absorption coefficient measurement were investigated. An argon discharge tube was used and ArI absorption lines at 840.82nm and 842.46nm are examined. As a result, a variation of integrated absorption coefficient caused by the saturation phenomenon is well agreed to a theoretical curve.
