These are Obora A1 type course pottery.　Recently, it became clear that those are even distributed over Okinawa pref. by the pottery and the clay ornament found at Hanzanbaru A and B sites at Chatan-cho, Okinawa pref. This paper examines the characteristic of those materials with the elaborate observation. The “eastern” type pottery found at Nansei-shoto are mainly look like the Tohoku course pottery and the Hokuriku course pottery, but it was already pointed that the Obora course pottery in Amami area were tend to be affected by local tradition.
