The research also provides data for diachronic studies on “Keiretsu-betsu” accents of the Ryukyuan dialects. Word lists with accents of the Kunigami dialect based on “Keiretsubetsu-goi” and some other lists are shown in the end of the paper. The present paper chiefly points out the following. Firstly, a few adjectives belong to the third type of adjective accent, which has found out nowhere in Japan formerly, and thus they might be the products of “tonogenesis”, where new types of accent or tone occur in certain conditions.
