However in educational field in Japan, it isn’t supposed enough understanding and support is provided for LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) students, and there are very few studies about the situation of LGBT students in especially universities. In present study, 6 LGBT students and one Ally student in the University of Tokyo participated in focused-group/individual interview and answered about their difficulties and needs at the university. The interview data was analyzed with GTA and the following results was revealed; there is a difference that LGB students have difficulties on communication level and T student has ones in general life, it is assumed to be important that every students should have opportunities to know about LGBT just after entrance into university, it is felt to be easier to provide guidance about not only LGBT but also one of more expansive knowledge such as harassment or minorities.
