内容記述 | The Tsukechi base-line network was resurveyed by Geodimeter in order to establish movement on the Atera Fault associated with the Gifu Earthquake on Sept. 9th, 1969 (λ=137°04', ψ=35°47', M=6.6, very shallow). In all, three surveys of the Tsukechi network were executed before the earthquake, and two surveys were carried out subsequently. The largest deformation observed since 1966 is a 30mm extension of the Hirono base-line. Although this amount is small, it exceeds the possible total errors of present and previous measurements doubtlessly. Further, the extension of this baseline is consistent with the left lateral geological history of the Atera Fault. Thus although the 30mm displacement is small, it still demonstrates deformation across this fault in association with the Gifu Earthquake. Subsequent to this earthquake, the Gero base-line network was established and two surveys have been carried out. Although the shortening of Norimasa line and the lengthening of the Butai-toge line are consistent with the left lateral displacement history of the Atera Fault, these changes are too small to conclude definitely. | |||||
