| 内容記述 | フリーターやフリーター希望者に特徴的な意識として現在志向や「やりたいこと」志向が指摘され,それに対して,職業や将来への意識を高めるための施策が提起されている.しかし,それらの志向の内実は何であり,彼らはなぜそうした志向性を持つのだろうか.本稿では,フリーター選択プロセスを把握することにより,「やりたいこと」志向とされてきたものの内実を明らかにすることを目的とする.インタビューの分折からは,フリーターを選択し,その状態を維持する要因として,生活手段を獲得するための道具性だけではなく,情緒的安定を可能にする表出性が充足されていることを指摘することができる.「やりたいこと」志向とは,さしあたり表出性を求めながら,道具性の獲得を求めていることを対外的に示す言葉だと解釈することができる.それゆえ,彼らの表出性に配慮しない政策は,その有効性を主張することができないであろう. | |||||

| 内容記述 | Present-and ""want to"" -orientation in Freeters'consciousness has been pointed out, and offering scholarship or opportunities for career development that would make them think their career and future has been suggested. But what is present-or ""want to"" -orientation ? The purpose of this paper is to describe the process of ""Freeter"" selection and to show an interpretation of these orientations. The findings are that they were seeking for not only instrumental function that enables them to earn their living but also expressive function that stabilizes their mentality. Present-or ""want to"" -orientation can be interpreted as one that they seek out primarily expressiveness and show that they seek out instrumentality at the same time. So no policies that don't take Freeters'orientation for expressiveness into consideration will be effective. | |||||
