| 内容記述 | The core argument of this article is that the regionalization process formalized under the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has become a major strategy of U. S. trade diplomacy for advancing and expanding a new regulatory framework for dealing with the pressure of globalization. After assessing the outcomes and shortcomings of the NAFTA, it purports to analyze the potential deepening and/or widening of the NAFTA. The integration path is accelerating fragmentation trends. Thus, bridging gaps, increasing social opportunities and maintaining social cohesion remain the challenges to be handled for the future, either at the local, national and regional levels. | |||||
